Denali Enterprise Services Program for Alaska Organizations

Deeptree developed the Denali Enterprise Services program to meet the needs of Alaska-based organizations seeking comprehensive, secure, and dependable IT management. The program provides managed server and network maintenance, cloud administration, disaster recovery, and 24/7 help desk support. The program integrates advanced cybersecurity capabilities (intrusion detection, antivirus protection, and incident response) into every layer of service. For clients ranging from healthcare to education and nonprofit sectors, Denali Enterprise Services has improved uptime, streamlined technology operations, and dramatically strengthened security posture.

Incident Response and Cybersecurity Architecture for a Regional Managed Services Client

When a new managed services client experienced unauthorized network access, Deeptree led a digital forensic and incident response effort using Incident Command System (ICS) principles. The firm's experts identified and isolated the breach, collected forensic evidence, and worked alongside federal agencies and insurance providers to coordinate remediation. Following containment, Deeptree implemented a redesigned, NIST 800-53-compliant architecture to eliminate vulnerabilities and prevent recurrence. The client's network was fully restored with stronger defenses, a faster detection-to-response cycle, and a renewed sense of operational confidence.

Permitting and Data Systems Transformation for Alaska State Agency

Over a two-year engagement, Pango led a multi-phase initiative to modernize a suite of web-based tools used by a State of Alaska agency for permitting, data management, and daily operations. The team refined system architecture, optimized code performance, and introduced modular design practices that improved scalability and reduced maintenance complexity. Project leadership provided expert guidance on solution design while managing sprint planning, stakeholder communication, and documentation quality. The engagement included GIS-linked data automation, legacy module modernization using a modern framework, and significant application performance improvements. Iterative development cycles delivered stable, incremental releases, and collaborative testing with agency staff ensured functionality met evolving program needs. By completion, the agency's software ecosystem was substantially modernized, more stable, and positioned for future enhancement.

Application Portfolio Risk, Compliance, and Documentation Enhancement

Pango provided senior business analysts to an oil and gas company to improve clarity, accuracy, and manageability across its application portfolio. The team consolidated institutional knowledge, reduced operational risk, and strengthened support processes by conducting structured application reviews, standardizing documentation, and improving ServiceNow records to accurately reflect ownership, dependencies, and support responsibilities. Analysts engaged stakeholders and vendors to clarify requirements, coordinate handovers, and streamline licensing and system lifecycle decisions. The engagement also supported risk and compliance activities – including vulnerability remediation and audit preparation – and contributed to reporting, dashboard development, and incident resolution. The combined effort enhanced portfolio visibility and enabled more reliable management of critical business applications.

EHR Requirements and Workflow Analysis for Regional Tribal Health Organization

Pango deployed a team of four senior analysts to lead a comprehensive requirements analysis and workflow documentation effort for a regional tribal health organization preparing to select and implement a new electronic health record (EHR) system. Over an initial five-month engagement, the team conducted more than 50 structured interviews with clinicians, department leaders, and support staff across clinical, administrative, and technical domains. The work produced a validated Functional Requirements Document, Requirements Traceability Matrix, and Integrated Systems Register – giving the organization a complete, defensible requirements package to guide vendor selection. Based on the strength of the initial engagement, the organization extended Pango's role into multi-phase workflow analysis, where the team documented and validated critical clinical and operational workflows to support EHR implementation planning. The engagement demonstrated Pango's core approach: rigorous analysis, disciplined documentation, and deep stakeholder collaboration that builds organizational readiness for major technology transitions.

Modern Benefit Management Systems for Alaska Division of Retirement and Benefits

WAI helped the State of Alaska's Division of Retirement and Benefits (DRB) significantly improve data accuracy and establish a stronger foundation for managing retirement and health benefits for nearly 45,000 participants. The WAI team accomplished this by building modern benefit management systems capable of processing payroll and benefits data from the State of Alaska and its more than 200 political subdivisions. WAI developed a secure, modern workflow-oriented web application for annual health benefit enrollment used by the State's active workforce and dependents, and a corresponding administrative application used by DRB staff for managing member benefits – delivering HIPAA-compliant tools for reporting benefit eligibility and enrollment data to the State's third-party administrators. The result is a streamlined, accurate, and future-ready benefits system that not only improves day-to-day operations but also sets the stage for self-service options and better data sharing across state agencies.

Enhancing Voter Access and Election Reporting for Division of Elections

WAI has a long history of supporting election services in Alaska. Our team developed and enhanced a secure voter information portal integrated with the state's election data systems, updating the interface and implementing authentication protections to ensure voters can safely access and manage their information online. We also developed applications to process scanned voter registers and produce structured data with corresponding signature images, supporting accurate voter rolls, auditing, and voter turnout tracking. Additionally, we created a map interface for election night reporting compatible with ranked choice voting, successfully deployed for both primary and general elections. Building on these efforts, our team developed web applications that enable voters to register, update registration, and request absentee ballots online. These applications augment the state's voter management systems and provide more efficient, secure, and user-friendly access for Alaska residents.
